Creating my end-of-the-year slideshow is one of my favorite tasks of the year. It’s also one of the most difficult; choosing a single favorite image from each session is no easy task. I took on less sessions this year due to Campbell’s arrival, but I was surprised when I went back through my year’s work how many images I had. Thank you to all of my clients, friends, and family for your support in 2010!

Last weekend, I set up the Photo Booth at the Big Squeeze fundraising event. I think the participants of the event were kept pretty busy, but a few snuck away for a fun photo or two. I am taking off the month of June, but I couldn’t resist setting up the photo booth for this family’s reunion, as I knew they’d be some great shots! Unfortunately, we didn’t have great weather (wind, rain), so we had to get creative with the backdrop. There wasn’t a building to set the backdrop stand up against, and I was worried it would blow over in the wind. With lots of little kiddos running around, this was not a risk worth taking. So, we used a hedge for a backdrop. However, it started to rain, so the photo booth had to be moved completely into a tent…but this gang still made the best of it and we got some great shots! This family is related to, I think, pretty much everyone in Morrison, haha! There are a lot of shots, so this may take a bit to load.

Congratulations Sarah & Daniel! Their wedding was on the nicest day of the season–gorgeous sun, warm temperatures, low humidity–it was amazing! We had a fun afternoon on Sunday…we set up a photo booth at Ebenezer Reformed Church’s Rally Day. These siblings had a great time with the booth (you may recognize them, as I took their photos last summer). We returned to the bridge this week for K’s senior portraits. I love this location–there are so many different things you can do there!

Is it just me or does he look a little bit like a young John Travolta?

K is a great baseball player, and currently plays for a prestigious all-star team, so of course we had to hit the ball diamond for a few!

I set up the photo booth at Jason & Sarah’s wedding, and what fun it was!  The guests really enjoyed it, and it is fun to look through all of the goofy pictures (and some good ones, too)!
