I set up the photo booth at Jason & Sarah’s wedding, and what fun it was! The guests really enjoyed it, and it is fun to look through all of the goofy pictures (and some good ones, too)!
The photo booth can travel! Contact me if you are interested in having one at your wedding.
I’ve added some fun equipment–an on-location photo booth set-up! This is not the traditional photo booth that you see in malls, but it is similar. It is a backdrop, camera, lights, and a remote-control shutter button for the camera. The photographer is not in charge of the camera–people wander through and take pics as they wish, doing insanely goofy and hilarious stuff. It is used at events like weddings, family reunions, etc. I already have three gigs in which it will be used this summer, and I’ll share those shots here.
I am still not shooting weddings (and I’m 99% sure I will not ever), but I will set up this photo booth at your wedding or event, as long as you ask permission of the main photographer. The fee includes my set- up of the photo booth, monitoring it during the event, taking it down, and a CD of all of the full-resolution files. I think this would be a super fun addition to your wedding, family reunion, class reunion, graduation party, or other party. Any time you have a group of fun people together that can act CRAZY! Contact me if you are interested! The photo booth is otherwise occupied on July 11, August 1, and August 8 so far the summer.
Tonight, Evan and I tested it out. We had a great time! Now obviously for a real event, the same two people would not be using the set-up over, and over, and over, but I think you get the idea here of the goofy things you can do. I also have to apologize for the chocolate on Evan’s face and the scuffed backdrop…I grabbed a roll of chestnut paper because it’s one of my only 4′ rolls and it’s easier to maneuver (most of my other rolls are 9′, which is what I would set up with the photo booth). I should have cut off the scuffed part at the bottom, but I didn’t. For your event, you will have some input into the color of the backdrop, and of course it will be a nice clean one! Also, since we were only using a 4′ wide drop, these shots aren’t as wide-angle as they could be. Remember–the “real” photo booth will have over twice this width to work with so more people can fit in!
Manda and JD are one of those gorgeous couples that seem so perfect that you just want to hate them…except they are so nice! They are sooo cute together, too. It’s so fun to photograph couples who connect in the way that they do. Here are a few of my favorites:
It was pretty hard for this happy-go-lucky couple to be serious but they pulled it off…is Manda gorgeous, or what?
Something new I’m working on…coffee table book pages! These can be purchased as 10×20 prints, or you can buy the whole book. The book is really cool…it has areas for journaling (by hand, after printing), customizable pages, etc. I’m going to put links here because my blog does not like wide photos, and since they are 10×20 they are quite wide.
