They are either antagonizing one another or cuddling with each other 100% of the time. Typical siblings, no?

I have not been the best blogger so far this year. Those of you who have met me probably find this hard to believe, but I feel sometimes as if I’ve run out of things to say (this never happens to me in real life…just blogging).
Recently I had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful young lady for her senior pictures. I haven’t done a senior portrait session since last fall, and I had forgotten how much fun it is! Meet Miss K:
For girls, I really love the shots where they are looking slightly off camera.

The bridge was a bit windy, but we made it work!

One of my favorites:

I love this spot.

And this is my very favorite shot from the whole session. Stunning!

Lily really loves stuffed animals more than any other dog we’ve had. She seems to have categories of stuffies. Some are her “babies”, which she carries around gently, nudges, licks, and treats like her puppies. Others are victims that obviously wronged her in some way. These she chews on and pulls apart. Getting the “squeaker” out of a victim stuffy is the ultimate triumph. She has an area in the backyard where she keeps her stuffies and also her bones.
Lily nudges one of her “baby” stuffies:

Picking it up to move it:

At this point, she notices me photographing her, and she gives me the “back off” look.

Taking care of this many babies on a hot day is really too much work for a couch potato.

Especially when one must constantly keep an eye on the squirrels.

Most of the day, she spends outside relaxing in the sun, with her babies and victims scattered around her.
