A Dog and Her Best Friend

November 26, 2009

I loved this session for a multitude of reasons. First of all, A. and I went to college together about 10 years ago and haven’t really since each other since. Secondly, I LOVE when people adore their dogs enough to have them photographed–and not just as part of the family, but as the main focus. LOVE IT. We went to Heritage Canyon in Fulton, where I have not been in a long time. I have many favorites from the session, but here those at the top of the list:

Extended Family Portraits

It was a brisk morning, but the light was nice and the park was gorgeous as always. We loved this family’s outfits–not only because they photograph well, but it made organization so much easier. We kept saying things like, “Okay, blue family!” and “Now sit with your color!” In all seriousness, I do love the way they dressed in solids of all colors. It makes for a much more interesting portrait than wearing all the same color or just one or two colors.

So here we have the green family:

Is that dog in the basket the cutest thing you’ve ever seen??

And the blue family:

Another Handsome 2010 Senior

November 22, 2009

Last weekend we had a great time photographing this handsome guy. We were sure to incorporate a couple of his favorite things. The weather was amazing and it was so much fun to be out in the fresh air! Just a few more sessions to share before I go on a hiatus for the holiday.
