Oh my, the personality of this one! She was exceptionally cute last summer (the girl with the great outfits, my friend called her).  A year later, she’s talking, and talking WELL!  The things she said cracked me up.  Being that I’m not above a bribe, I gave her a little piece of candy after every pose.  She said, “That makes me very happy!” Later, her grandma had her sing “Do Your Ears Hang Low”, which she did quite nicely.  Afterwards, Miss M. said, ‘I think I need another candy now!”  We were just cracking up her whole session.  What will we talk about when I take her three-year pictures? Rocket science?

I am really enjoying the two-year-olds I’ve photographed lately. I remember enjoying that age when my Evan was two, as well. I think the “terrible twos” are a myth!

I LOVE this photograph. I cannot explain it; something about the door, that little hand grasping the handle, the serious expression…click!

Do you know how hard it is to get a natural, almost-smile out of a two-year-old? She nailed it:

Another near-smile, this time with a touch of impishness:

And the full-fledged gorgeous grin! She allowed me to suggest poses exceptionally well. Not many two-year-olds will do this!

Another favorite:

This one is called, “I had my senior pictures taken when I was two.”

Can you even stand the cuteness?

Dancing and singing “I’m a Little Teapot”. A real performer, this one is!

Beautiful Jan! I like the first one in the doorway too. But I like the second one even more. They’re all great!
