I gave my blog a facelift for Christmas. Don’t tell my blog this, but I did it using a free WordPress template called Tofurious (click the name to go to the download page–you have to have a WordPress blog first). If you are a blogger, WordPress.org is the way to go! I’ve tried both Typepad and Blogger, and WordPress is by far my favorite. WordPress.org is the software to put a blog on your own server (which I have on www.janscottphotography.com). www.wordpress.com is for bloggers who don’t have a server/domain name.

Now that all of my time-sensitive holiday photo sessions are finished, I am going to send my main camera body in for recalibration and cleaning. It’s working fine, but I’ve used it pretty heavily for a year and I think it’s time for a little tune-up. I do still have my back-up camera body for emergencies, such as CHRISTMAS (!!), but I am not going to be taking regular sessions until after the holidays.

I do still have a couple of past sessions to post here, and I’m sure I’ll also have some family holiday photos to share, so stay tuned to the blog!
