Freezing at the park

October 30, 2008

We nearly canceled this session, as it was so crazy windy on Sunday. But, we persevered, and I promised to find some nooks at Rockwood State Park where we were sheltered from the wind a bit. We didn’t get to use one of my favorite spots, as it was RIGHT in the wind, but I was able to find a new favorite spot there (see everything happens for a reason). I loved this family…they were so relaxed and natural, and they had cute kids!

He’s feeding his mom a Pez! LOL

I love this bridge so much! The lighting here is perfect and I love the lines it creates:

He likes it, too:

I love bald babies! He was SUCH a good sport.

I love how they are all looking at the little boy here:

and I loved their little dog! He was so cute!

My new favorite spot:

I love this one so much and I don’t even know why, exactly. I guess I love the interaction between the mother & son, plus the gorgeous trees!

My last couple of favorites:

It was so COLD and windy during this session…I felt so bad for these little guys, but they didn’t complain much! They are repeat clients, and two of my very favorites! We did photos around “boy stuff”…tires, trucks, pallets, etc.

Thanks to my aunt, for letting me use this property! I love it, and these photos showcase only a small part of the beauty there. Here’s the other family from this past weekend who were able to enjoy the color:
