Little L. may be small, but he has more personality than most adults I know! He had his parents, my assistant Alex, and me just cracking up the whole session. We had a great time walking around the park, and he was a FABULOUS photo subject! Alex and I couldn’t get over what a good boy he was!

I have several favorites:

Taking Miss A.’s portraits could not have been easier–she’s so photogenic! These were taken on their family farm, which I LOVED. I want to move there–think it’s for sale? Or maybe they have a spare bedroom?

Goal #1: Photos with their new puppy! Oooh was that puppy cute! All fuzzy and cuddly and squirmy…

Goal #2: Photos around the old barn…her mom mentioned that she wasn’t sure if I would use it or not, as it was old and uncared for (they said)…I think it’s PERFECT! You know I love old barns!

Goal #3: Photos in the field…”just set aside land,” they said…looks like a photographer’s paradise to me! I’m not sure poor Miss A. enjoyed traipsing through it, but I promised her it would be worth it!

I loooove this one! She has a gorgeous smile, but the focus totally falls on the eyes on a serious face:

Goal #4: Jump!

One last pretty shot by the house:

To those of you who are on my fall waiting list, and to those of you who aren’t and would like a fall session–I am opening up my fall calendar today! My fall schedule is first-come first-serve, with the people on the waiting list, in order, to be scheduled first. By “fall”, I mean September, October, and November. These sessions fill up quickly, so call or e-mail soon!

I am also planning a family mini-session event for November, although I have not nailed down the date for that yet. This will be a discounted 30-minute photo session, with the primary goal being to get one good family shot for a holiday card. However, I will take as many pictures as I can in that 30-minute time slot, so you’ll definitely end up with a several good shots to choose from. These will be studio shots, so if you are looking for outdoor family shots, you’ll need to schedule a regular session. If you are interested in a November mini-session, let me know and I’ll contact you when those details finalize.
